The "borrowing" and spending phase of this isn't going to hurt. It's going to be the paying the money back bit after Clown has left that is really going to sting.
It's sickening. The MP's expenses story is almost a diversion from the REAL problems our country is going to have to face up to.
But Clown keeps on borrowing and spending like there is no tomorrow:mad:0 -
Will be interesting to see if their predictions have to be revised to reflect reality.

I reckon that works out at over £300 for every man woman and child in one month alone.0

The really, really annoying thing is that Brown *keeps* banging on about 'investment' using yet more money this country doesn't have.
I'm hoping that the people of this country aren't daft enough to fall for this and the comprehension that it's all going to have to be paid back is not going to get forgotten.
However, I'm doubtful. I still have a nightmare vision that Labour might just win in 2010 because the electorate are gullible enough to fall for Labour spin. They've been in power too long and need a long spell in opposition to contemplate what and who they stand for.0
