Thanks BB, I think I will stick to just coming down on Sunday then :j Are we still meeting on the beach? I have Maz's number but no one elses0

Who is in charge of this gig then? We definately need a tour manager here (BB:D). I am getting there sometime on saturday and staying till the following saturday. I guess we'll leave here sometime in the morning and I think it'll be about 4 hours drive. No idea where we are all meeting, I suppose it depends on the weather a bit.:A

Providing I can find train tickets and a place to stay I will be there Sat afternoon till Mon morning

I would volunteer to be guide but as I will be at work until 5pm on Saturday its not much use really. If the weather is remotely sunny it will be very busy on the beach however I suggest everyone meeting at the clock tower on the prominade. The far end of the beach towards the pier I would stay clear of as dogs are allowed and personally I think its a nightmare and pretty gross. (even though it looks clean still I wouldn't wants kids digging IYSWIM)
The other end of the beach is more shingle so if it looks empty thats why! There are plenty of kiosks on the beach that sell tea, coffee, drinks, ice cream, chips, buckets spades. Donky ride are £3 I think, Pedalo (sp) are £5 for half an hour (when I last went but expect they will put it up for the tourist holiday season). There are also plenty of pubs, bars along the seafront and if its raining there is a pub that has an indoor play bit which is called Sharkys. There is also another indoor play place 5-10 walk from the beach.
I guess if most people aren't arriving until Saturday afternoon I would suggest a Picnic BBQ on the beach weather permitting. There is a Tesco Metro 5 mins from the beach so easy to get bits and pieces cheaply.
Right I will have a think at other things and be back laterI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I think Sally has just qualified as the perfect tour manager
I think we need to know who is going to be there on saturday and sunday and both so we can organise where and what.
And buffy, no adults on donkeys pleaseI hate kids on the poor things too, it can't be much fun for them. Shame fran isn't here really, I would have hired him out at a couple of quid a time for a piggy back ride up the beach.:D
I shall pm you back in a bit wol, baby is crying so bed time is looming :rotfl::A
