When I worked- albeit briefly in an EA- anything classed as an enquiry.

If someone came in and said to me- that flat on Church st- how many years on the lease does it have- and I replied 77 years, and they say- Oh no we'll leave that and walk out- thats still an enquiry. It was still recorded as such!

Househunters should study the way Foxhunters go about their business.

Foxhunters at least keep the verminous fox in check.
Unlike the Househunters who have failed to check the infestation of unsold properties blighting the land.

It's time the government acted before it's too late.

And what do you expect the government to do about it... ?

Isn't hunting houses with dogs cruel? So cruel in fact that the Labour Government spent more time discussing that than the Iraq war?

Or am I getting confused again? Perhaps I should have a little lie down.

It's obvious that the current arrangements for regulating Househunters is not fit for purpose.
I think the Sports Minister should be brought to task for the mismanagement of this national disgrace.

One for AD, I know he loves this kind of green shoot news icon7.gif

Four househunters chased every property for sale in the UK during May, new research shows.
The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) says estate agents had an average 299 househunters registered with them during May, the highest level since September 2007.
And interest from potential buyers translated into sales during the month, with estate agents selling an average of 10.4 homes each.
The figures represent the highest level since October 2007, and the fifth consecutive monthly rise.

I really dont believe these headlines. We have a site that has been sitting since last year and not a thing has been built on it. We have two other sites that are sitting with 2 left to build and 3 on the other and the companies are not building on them. Would be nice to believe but think it is a little too early to say that it is happening. I reckon 2010 - 2011 might see a slight increase but never will be back to 2007 levels.

Never say never! You would think, after all the pain of the property decline that started in 1988/9, people would have learned their lesson. But we have exactly the same thing (but more so!) less than 20 years later.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
