    Found the cherries were very tasty and the pineapple a decent size for 49p.

    We've found the pineapples in Lidl to be double the size for the same price. The cherries I could eat boxes and boxes of though!

    Thanks for theinfor on the July deals, I'll certainly be buying all of those!

    What peaches have you guys been getting? I bought a packet the first week and a packet the second week. Both were really, really sweet and delicious. Actually, I thought everything was excellent. Plums were a bit poor the first week (chewy, wouldn't go soft), gorgeous the second week. Pineapple delicious, cherries great. Not sure about the melon but I don't really like them anyway.

    Looking forward to July's stuff. Love the red grapes.

    The deal it now seems is Green grapes not red ..sorry. But the good news all are 49p

    Still starts Monday and tesco are using the same grape and selling the same size pack for 99p !

  • Not bad considering that my mum usually pays £1.50 for 10 peppers at the market, or £1 for a box full (usually get around 30 in a box) at the local grocers.

    Yes, I just bought some tomatoes, peppers, grapes and bananas (which are 49p/kg). Excellent value.

    6 large bananas
    1.5kg new potatoes ours are scottish grown
    500g green grapes all 49p

    i didnt buy the peppers so not sure how many in a pack or the nectarines
