Well, managed to get four nights at Fulham in January for £66 so only one room at £9 and the rest at £19 but pleased to have gotten such a long weekend in London for not a lot. Might save some money for the sales. Anyone stayed at the Fulham one? I understand it's quite a new one. I know Fulham well and like the Irish pubs there.

The TL site isn't working great at the moment, £9 rooms not available at £9 when you click on them to book. Also, there's now a charge of £1.50 to pay by credit card.

Anyone who fancies York (which is never available cheap), should try Tadcaster. The TL is a 5 min drive from McArthur Glen shopping centre with a park-and-ride into York centre. The shops have a food court - you can have a day in York and then a cheap meal with the kids at the shopping centre, though it closes at 6pm.

I can also recommend Shrewsbury - Bayston Hill TL is near a park and ride, Sainsburys, Pizza Hut.

There are lots of £9 rooms at the London Park Royal and Wembley TL in January. A family currently could stay in the London Park royal TL for 7 days from Sat 2 Jan for £63 in total!

I was in work at 6.00am on the dot this morning to get my rooms booked. I usually stay 3 nights a week at a travelodge so for me getting £9 a night is a big saving.

York Central is my first choice too but most of them were already at £19 per night or more. I did manage to get two nights for £9 there. But on many occasions on the search it said £9 but it had already gone up to £19 by the time I got there.

I mostly booked about 20 stays at Leeds Colton for £9 each. Plus 5 nights in Oxford for £45!

Good job I came in early because most of them seem to be gone now!
