hi,
another quick question(sorry)
I have a jnt together mtg with my OH for around 20k, my OH is in trusted deed so NR are coming after me for the loan(unsecured) i dont have the funds to pay for this.
from reading other threads can they make this loan secured against the property?
and if so how?
(i am in scotland)
as always i really appreciate your time and advice.:A

I think they would only do that if there's equity in the property, but I assume there isn't as the AiB would have had that?
They may be happy to re-negotiate it into a personal loan in just your name though.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
sorry i am getting myself all mixed up not thinking straight these days:eek:
i meant to say that our jnt mtg was worth £283k house worth £300k secured loan against house of £83k and unsecured loan of £20k- my husband can still pay the mtg(he in in a trusted deed) but the unsecured loan falls on to me and i cant afford to pay it as i dont work and have no income at all
, but i have read that NR can turn the unsecured loan into a secured loan and if so how?
do they apply for a ccj against the house or do you get the charge for payment first
i dont really know that much about this thats why i keep on asking all these silly questions:embarasse
thank you just getting my self all stresed out(our washing machine has broken my 2 youngest kids need new clothes and shoes and my eldest needs new clothes for the new school oh and my husbands car is not working again-it never rains but it pours)
