Did you tell all the creditors you were BR as they contacted or just ignore them ? The latter sounds more fun i think.:A

I would ignore them and don't tell them you are contemplating BR, they could up the hassle factor and make life even more unconfortable.

You could tell them that you are seeking advice from CCCS/NDL/CAB and someone will be in touch with them shortly, just don't say it will be the OR :D That may give you some breathing space.

I let OR tell them, however for the first few weeks while the phone still rang, the satisfaction of being able to tell them I was BR, wouldn't be paying them and NOT to EVER contact me again was fantastic.

  • Thanks, i think i will let the OR do it, but i will take some time to tell them to never contact me again.
I must say, i never ever thought i would be so glad to set foot in a court and see a Judge.

I didn't contact any creditors, after my previous attempts to settle with them I really had no desire to maintain pleasantries - a little bitter me thinks:o
