Party Plan for Blokes???

Hi everyone!

Was just wandering if anyone had heard of any party plan type opportunities that are 'bloke friendly'? I'm interested in getting involved with this sort of venture but as a man, I'm not sure It'd be in my interest to go down the Virgin Vie / Body Shop type route. Would a market that is predominantly aimed at women really take a man seriously selling this type of product?

Any thoughts would be gratefully received!!!

What about Usborne Books? Educational products you can sell to parents and schools.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I do Partylite too and I have a chap about to sign up to my team, there are also several leaders who are men. I think the key with any party plan is to find a product that you really like and the rest will come from there. Don't forget that you usually start off with selling to friends and family, so they already like you! You could perhaps look into something like Forever Living aloe vera products. There's also Barefoot Books which is a similar idea to Usborne.

I do Kleeneze and one of the male members of my team does cabouchon jewellery parties quite successfully. He says it took him a little while to get established but that his customer's don't seem to mind either way nowadays and he gives his regular customers a catalogue with the cabouchon in to take away with them and he gets more orders that way :)

I think that if you're pro-active, confident etc it won't really matter. Let me know if you want more information :)

    Hi

I sell Miglio Designer Jewellery and have 2 men in my team - I know that we are steadily increasing the number of men in the company throughout the UK.

Women LOVE to buy from men, and as our range can also be placed in salon's/spa's a lot of men join the company and recruit other consultants really quickly this way.

I think that the high value/high return of our product is very appealling and also men often sell the jewellery to other men in environments where most of the female consultants don't go such as car garage's, fire stations, men's clubs etc. The beauty of this is that as a general rule a husband will spend more on his wife than she will spend on herself so overall sales are generally higher. If you want more information you can PM me or alternatively use a popular search engine to look up Miglio and find out the information there.

There are some very successful male Phoenix Trader's out there!
:) Thank you to all OPs :)
  • We had a chap in our area when I did Virgin Vie and he was always in demand and very successful at it!

I think the key to doing well is that you have to enjoy doing the parties and really believe in your products.

There's a wine company that's been going years... alcohol, that's for blokes.

Or start your own thing. Your products, your prices, your terms!

Set it up, get it going, work out procedures etc... then look for other blokes to work for you doing it.

Could do anything blokey that way.
