Don't have any paella rice, should I use arborio risotto, pudding rice or jasmine?

I'd go for Arborio I think.0

Hi There
I would go for arborio rice everytime - its practically the same as paella rice and is often cooked in the same way.
Steer clear of jasmine rice as it wont give you the texture you want.
Pudding rice is far too stodgy.

Another vote for arborio/risotto rice. I certainly wouldn't use pudding rice. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

I live in Valencia(where paella is from) and here we use normal long grain rice if we are cooking it at home

The arborio was very nice btw - perhaps better than paella rice. Worth a try....0
