Oh my goodness. I don't think I was the original winner. Look at this info from the T&Cs:

Winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision and notified by email within 10 days of the closing date. In the event that a winner cannot be contacted within 20 days of first attempting contact, the promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to award the prize to a substitute winner drawn at the same time as the original. The promoter’s decision in all matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The closing date of the comp was 08/05, and I wasn't notified that I was the winner until yesterday, so I can only imagine that someone else was originally chosen and couldn't be contacted. How awful if they were without internet for some reason and missed out..
