Any Idea..What Could Be The Delay?

Don't really want to communicate with the CSA by phone as its all by letters.
I see the liable amount from my Data protection files, after re-calculcation from a IMA. (sent them all details requested). Yet, still no letter in that nice little brown envelope the CSA use.
After a year of threatening baliffs, pay up in 14 days and liability order served back In January ( they obviously now know, I never had any idea this was taking place), its all gone quiet.
Does anyone know how long it takes for them to send a letter on the figure after re-assessment? Its gone from 42k, to 26k, to 16k and now with all details (bank records of direct pay to PWC when self employed and she was on benefits) according to the Data Files its in the region of £4,000..on "Liability owed"
Why don't they just send the confirmation, they kept bombarding me when it was a high figure..!! I do believe the case has been in the hands of the Criminal Compliance team since November last year. Also, its a CSA1 case riddled with errors and my daughter is now married at the age of 23!!! and very happy

It all depends on how they feel lol. No in all seriousness i think it is all down to the case worker thats looking after it - if they are efficient you should be having regular updates/communications. It seems that if you bombard the CSA for updates it does get seen to quicker, but if you dont it kind of slips off radar. I found out from my case worker in conversation that he had a diray of things to do that day (not sure if paper or electronic) and worked from that!0
