Joint bank account/ credit searches

I recently got married and am considering opening a joint bank account with my wife. I have substantial debts and my wife doesn't and I'm concerned that by opening a new bank account together this may have adverse implications on my wifes credit score. Does anyone know if this is how it works?

This is called 'Financial association'. Every joint application results in this tipe of record in a special section of the credit file(s).
