Hi,
I am new to these forums, I enjoy reading them and have been for the past couple of months.
Eventually today I finally registered and have a few questions (I hope this is in the right place)
Ok so here are my questions.
I have read about different challenges in terms of budgeting - ie the grocery challenge etc. What all challenges are on the website so I can search for them and take part.
I have also read about a spend diary and a debt diary - but cant find posts on these.
Can someone outline these and tell me what other motivational/record tools there are.
I live with my partner and our dog and we are trying to cut our spending.
We have the following:
Mortgage: £110000 and a house worth about £80k
Car loan: £8000
I am going back to study in september and therefore our income is going to reduce by approximately £12000 per year.
I would like to know of all the hints and tips on budgeting, money management etc as i no these will help keep us on track and motivate us!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I would like to know how you's reduce your spends, how yous meal plan and what sort of challenges you do ie store cupboard and grocery challenge.
How do you keep your money, do you work in cash and then seperate it in to hypothetical pots etc.
I am new to all this and would love all your tips...

jemz the easiest way to learn is to use the forum jump guide, top right which lists all the forums. Old style money saving and debtfreewannabe will keep you entertained for weeks. At the top of the page under the start here banner on each forum is an immense amount of info. Have fun.Sadly, you don't have any badges yet but keep trying! See what you could get........... oh boo hoo I am crying into my wine.0
