Nationwide gravy train rolls on

After its profits fell by two thirds in 2009 Nationwide is not paying Annual Performance pay. However Beale and his cronies are still trousering obscenely high pay. £6.5 million to Executive Directors in 2009 - £6.1 million to these directors in 2008. Basic pay and pension contributions have gone up well ahead of inflation. Even worse so-called 'Medium Term Performance pay' has been doubled although it is obvious that performance has declined. The tone of the annual report and bumf is also revoltingly smug.

Good results. Pretty punch executive pay in these times though.0

I assume everyone got the financial statements and voting forms then today? I'm actually thinking of voting against a few of the directors, however it won't make any difference since the ordinary people on the street will just say yes to anything!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0
