capital one/equidebt ltd

Hi all
just had yet another call from those wonderfull people at Equidebt ref my old Capital one account that they purchased on the 14th of march
I have now had several of there standard letters you know the type "dont ignore""etc
and i dont have phoned them on recipt straight away pointed out that i went bankrupt on the 13th of feb and told them you should contact the OR Problem is they still call or write and say either they have searched the OR site and cant find me or just call me a liar outright Now i have just made them again look on the net and check my details and yet again i got a half faced "sorry".They say they have not recived the email i sent them with a copy of my bankruptcy order so why should i have to go to the expense of posting a copy?? no doubt they will say they didnt get it!!
So i thought i will phone Capital one as they sold the debt on knowning that i was bankrupt and have been told by the OR they cant do it!!Boy was i wrong talk about rude i quite nicely pointed out to them that they were informed on the 14th feb of all my court details there awnser was "do you expect us to belive you???"i said well um yes and you have been sent a copy of my bankruptcy order didnt you recive it?? she said yes they had a "poor" copy of my order but they felt it didnt look real so they chose to ignore it and sell the debt on I pointed out that they only had to look at the web site to confirm it but she said capital one wont do that and i will be contacted by equidebt and taken to court!!
What can you do about these people 7 weeks on im getting chased just as much i know some people will say just laugh at them but i cant!!
It makes me so very upset that even when you try to do the right thing its still wrong have spoken to the OR very nice lady but says she cant help me i asked her if they have contacted all my crediotrs and she said she does not know??
What more can i do? i dont know yet if my wife can keep her car or what we might have to pay?? or even if i will get an order against me?? thats enough to worry about i dont really need these people callimg me at work even though there told not to
Sorry for the rant but you know sometimes its just to much!!

Sounds like they are trying it on:mad: I'd refer all calls back to Capital One, Its their problem as they sold on the debt knowing you had gone bankrupt. If you can be bothered quote the reference no and contact details of your OR and get them to speak to your creditors, its what they are being paid for.
