Chicken Casserole left-overs?

Hi,
I hope this is the right place for this? If not please forgive me.
I know this is a bit sad and I should probably already know this and I'll sound REALLY dumb etc. etc. BUT ....
I made a chicken casserole tonight and I have some left over, I know I can make it into soup but I don't know how? Obviously I won't have to add much to it but what I'm thinking is - I'm a bit paranoid about chicken being dangerous to heat up or something? And how I should keep it until tomorrow (in the fridge) but was it ok leaving it to cool down on the side (in the covered slow cooker) and how long will I have to re-heat it so I don't kill everyone LOL. I know I'm really dumb - sorry

If you try the old style board you may get some other tasty recipes too
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!0 -
As long as it's absolutely piping hot and you've kept it in the fridge overnight, it'll be absolutely fine.
You know when chicken's off because it smells foul, so don't worry.0 -
