    Blockbuster are verging on the illegal with me.
    I have never rented from them ever, the last tenant has and continued to use her old address, my current address, although her name, i have phoned them on numerous occasions, on a premium rate number, to be told i had to go into the shop and present evidence.
    They then sent a debt collectors letter, and have been abusive on the phone, they are demanding i pay, and i make it clear it is not mine, infact i am considering the police to deal with them.
    My advice to anyone is to stay away from them, they have dubious people there.


    The poster clearly states that they can ill afford the £8, so the last thing that is needed is for them to be hounded on this board.

    The point is:
    This board is for help not judgement. And if Charlie Davis has never rented a film, maybe you ought to direct your comments towards helping him, not judging him. They are demanding money with menaces for a debt that was never his. The onus is on Blockbuster to prove the debt is his, not on CharlieDavis to prove the debt is not his.

    The point is that only Court Fines are not included in BR, a fine from Blockbuster certainly is. The person at Blockbuster telling the OP otherwise is wrong, and your post on the 25th June is also incorrect.
