I bought a vivitaar 2 mega pixel one a few years ago, the quality was very grainy gave it straight back and bought a Canon Powershot A60 - brilliant.
I would say for £15 - no problems, for £50 - best to confirm quality before purchase.

A Canon Powershot would normally cost substantially more than a Vivitar product...Thanks to all who post constructively.

The Powershot A60 was canon's entry level product, l got it for £99 from Amazon.
Only £25 more than the Vivitar that l bought.
