If your income is soley made up of benefits then no IPA will be sought.

On the car if you are not working you will have to prove you need the car and fight to keep it. Perhaps have a letter ready to send off with all the other paperwork the OR requires, stating reasons why you feel you should be allowed to keep the car might help.Dx

Would recieveing Motability not prove I need the car or should I get a doctors letter.
What do you mean by "all the other paperwork the OR requires", what other paperwork do they need?

Is it a motability vehicle? If so, then it's not 'yours' as such and they won't touch it. However, if the car belongs to you, you will need to prove that it is essential and not just convenient. They may decide to take the car and give you a small sum of money to purchase an older, cheaper one - basically it's to release as many funds as possible to pay your creditors.

The OR will send you a pack with request for information - bank statements, cards, etc

The car is mine so i guess its time to write a pleading letter.
Hope i get to keep it as it would cost me an absolute fortune for taxis.
Does the rest of it seem OK.

    Thanks again

The rest of it doesn't "really matter" as you are on benefits so no IPA will be imposed.

    Ok, thanks for your replies.
Does this mean when i get the phone call from the OR it should be pretty strait forward apart from the car?
All my debts are personal loans, overdraft and cards. All unsecured with a total of about £15000

    Yet again thanks.

Yes it should be straightforward unless there are any major discrepancies, etc. And you're more than welcome - we all know how stressful this experience can be.
