Okay i'm getting married at the end of of July so i've only had 5 months to organize my pretty little Wedding.
First and most importantly I booked the venue 3 days after we said we were getting married, found a Victorian manor house in Scotland just minutes from my home. £22.50 for the meal £11.50 for 3 drinks for each guest. The total for this hotel will be £1900 for 53 guest, 12 of which are children
Total of nearly 100 for night time. £150 for dj, booked a fab silver and black limo to take 8 of us to the venue £140. Flowers, hmmm doing my own with Markies avalanche roses, ivory and will have a dash of pink in my bouquet somewhere.
Anyway time to go shopping for 'the dress'. Found 'the dress' on my first visit to the bridal shops. I'm going to be pretty in pink, baby pink 50's style dress for my vintage theme Wedding. Cost in the bridal shop £260 so i wrote down the name of the dress and googled it. Found it on another bridal site for £180, wow saved £80 by just shopping around. Looked in the same Wedding shop for my tiara, £110 so again googled the name/make and got it on ebay, yes wait for it £10....I feel a lot better now wearing a £110 tiara that cost me £10 and sparkles like mad.
I love quirky ideas so will post pictures of my buys and ideas if anyone whats to share them. I found shot glasses in Boots reduced to £4 for 4 fab and funky shots, will take them all out of the box, wrap them in tulle and tie with black satin bow for some favours for the top table.

My dress, one on the right, yes it's a bridesmaids dress but i looked at many dresses and found nothing i likes more than this one, i have had tons of ivory glass beads sewn into the dress where there is embroidery, to be honest to me it's one of a kind and i love it, keep looking at it on the hanger in my bedroom

Your dress is gorgeous and one of the best things is you can wear it for other things after the wedding to!0

Those dresses are all gorgeous and with having more glass beads sewn into it, it will make it even more prettier
Can I ask what is the name of your victorian manor house?0 -

My wedding shoes, baby pink. I have bought day time and night time shoes just in case they are very high and uncomfortable.Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0 -

Thanks, mind you it is OTT for another doo really when you see it in the flesh, it's very fancy.... can't wait to wear it
At the moment it is very tight up top but i'm doing crunches and slimming like made so it will fit! I'm sure it will though as i've lost a lot of weight already.Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0 -
