I agree with Running Horse Joolz - that was harsh and a bit uncalled for.
We all have dreams and losing your job is both scary but also gives opportunity for people to do what they really want and sometimes you just don't know what you want.
As Moonbeam suggests Dan - think about the hobbies you love doing and turn them into your dream job :) You'll never feel like you're working again just enjoying life :)
Go for it, best of luck :)

Just a word of warning, if you turn your hobby in to your job, it is no longer something you enjoy, it becomes something you have to do, which can sometimes destroy your enjoyment.

Never let success go to your head, never let failure go to your heart.
  • I bought a book last year called "What Colour is Your Parachute?"

Sounds crazy, but its incredible - its a workbook type thing with lots of exercises, questions and ideas about finding a job/career that is right for you. I would really recommend taking a look at it, even if you just browse through it in the bookstore. There is apparently a book to go with it, but I hav only seen the workbook, which truely helps lead you to insight about yourself and you desires for the way you make your money.
Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x

I love what colour is your parachute! I credit it with getting me into my current line of work, and I try and push it on people slightly more than is socially acceptable.
