Just to let all those MSE out there that some Kwik Save supermarkets are closing today (they have not been sold on due to the land its on) and everything should be getting priced down to pennys

the nearest Kwik Save to me is in Pontefract but sorry i don't know which other ones are closing down think there are approximalty 50 or so

get bargins while you can

BEWARE not all supermarkets are closing so you may have to travel a bit to get the bargins

Not much luck in my local kwiksave, nothing hardly reduced the staff said they were transferring it all on to other branches.......worth a try though.....

I have a kwik Save at Whittlesey and one at Lincoln Road Peterborough, anyone know if these are closing. Kids off school now so don't want to be dragging them around for nothing.

Stock will not be reduced down to pennies except fresh stock.

The rest will be transferred to other branches - I wouldn't go in the hope of a bargain.

all the stores that still are part of kwik save have to get rid of stock today yes they may move it around between the closing stores but otherwise things are definalty going cheap trsut me i am friends with one of the big boss people who just got made redundant there her job is to ensure they get rid of everything as it costs more to dispose of it themselves

The Peterborough store (lincoln road) has already changed to a Somerfield so i don't suppose the offers will be there.

Not sure about the whittlesey branch but I think it might be a somerfield aswell, Check that one out. Hubbys got the car for work today so I'm glad its not at my closest store lol I'd be dragging the children down there on the bus if it was.

Kidsgrove closes today but when I went in there the other day the shelves were virtually empty and I imagine any electrical goods had been moved to differnt store that arent closing this week

just phoned one of my localish kwik save, and they said they were closing at 12 noon, so cant get there as hubby as got the car, so i would suggest phoning to find out if they are closing at at what time....as by the looks of it they will not be their normal closing times.....

Heres a list of the stores taken over by the new owners of KwikSave so presumably if your local store isnt on this list it will be closing and could have bargains!?!? Hope my logic on this is right.

I didn't know whether to look at your thread coz 'Urgent Today Only Offer' sounded like the title of a scam/virus email that I certainly wouldn't open. It would anyway be helpful to have some kind of hint in the thread title about its content please.
