I do.
There are a few pople I know who always seem to be winning something. If they go to Bingo (even the thought of winning couldn't entice me to go: would need to be a cast iron guarantee), they always seem to win. If there's a raffle: they win. They win trips, goods and money but few of them are particularly nice or iteresting folk: a couple of them are though. :j
Strange, hmmmmm? Could all that luck be compensation for no friends or maybe the luck's gone to their head and made them feel superior?
They're usually the ones heard to say, "That'll be right. They can help themseves" when asked to give to charity. :rolleyes2

I have a really lucky family friend, she doesn't win big things just raffles and stuff like that but she is elderly, really nice and close to a saint too, gives to charity and everything!!!![FONT=georgia, bookman old style, palatino linotype, book antiqua, palatino, trebuchet ms, helvetica, garamond, sans-serif, arial, verdana, avante garde, century gothic, comic sans ms, times, times new roman, serif]A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it

Well I tend to believe that you make your own luck. Those who win the lottery - play the lottery. Those that win at Bingo - play bingo. Those that win cars - enter draws to win cars. The more you enter the more you are likely to win. However that is all you can do. However there are those who do all of the above and yet still win nothing. The odds are still the same just that yours has not come up yet.
I'm into 1000 Comps now within the last 3 weeks. https://www.million-competitions.blogspot.com and still have no wins but have come extremely close. It will happen. I know it will. Maybe it is waiting for the car rather than a CD?? :-)
Good Luck All.

I go through phases of entering loads of competitions then not bothering for ages. Once you win 1 tiny thing it triggers off a craze to enter absolutely everything.
The best win I ever had was a luxury week's holiday for two staying on the Champs Elysees in Paris and flying via British Airways Business Class....I was seriously broke and it couldn't have come at a better time.0 -
My sister used to enter all the competitions when she was younger and won huge barbie 4x4 and loads of stuff with it and a holiday to florida for four once!!!! But that was about 11 years ago.[FONT=georgia, bookman old style, palatino linotype, book antiqua, palatino, trebuchet ms, helvetica, garamond, sans-serif, arial, verdana, avante garde, century gothic, comic sans ms, times, times new roman, serif]A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it
