pasta bake

Am thinking of cooking a whole chicken for tea tonight, and as there will be some meat left, am thinking of letting DD1 loose in the kitchen to do her pasta bake she made at school last week.
I know i should know this, but if chicken is already cooked once, is it ok to cook again in the pasta bake??
And, as DD1 is at hospital tom teatime, not sure if we will have time to cook tomorrow, so will chicken from tonight keep till Wednesday, or do we make the pasta bake tonight, freeze and cook from frozen on Wed??

Hi jetcat,
Yes, providing the chicken is chilled quickly after cooking and stored in the fridge it should be fine to use in the pasta bake on Wednesday. My general rule of thumb is reheating chicken once and keeping it in the fridge for three days.
There are more opinions on this thread:
How long does cooked chicken keep for?
I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the replies together.
