Thanks everyone - think I am just worrying a bit too much!!
Was speaking to my mate who is a bit of a whizz with these things and he reckons I am fine, I have 4 searches on my credit report which apparently is good??
He has over 40 and has managed to get a mortgage no problem.
The mobile phone issues in terms of the late payments etc etc were about 4/5 years ago, I have got contracts since then and have got credit no problem for the last 3 years so I assume I should stop worrying??
Would it be worth simply getting a credit card, say put the petrol on it every month then clear the balance every month - would that help??0
