have read some negative items about spotify, no doubt sourced from the music industry..

time for them to wake up and smell the downloads.. people have ALWAYS copied music / tv programmes, when vinyl / cassettes / vhs was the thing..

my view is once you've bought something, its yours..

not that I would pass stuff on as if it was mine, or multi upload it elsewhere, cos thats illegal, innit?

I've used Spotify for ages, its bug free. Its basically set out like itunes, but you just click the song you want to listen to and it plays instantly. It even remembers every song you've played, and theres millions of songs on there. If you play a few songs in a row you'll get an advert playing before your next song.

    Its good!

    Spotify is great.
    And freeeeee

You do get ads on it but its like your own personal radio, and its one 10 second ad like every 10 songs! Even works with the "show what im listening to" function on mwn/live messenger

I've been using Spotify since it started and find it great for listening to new music that I'm thinking of buying. With the free version you do get some ads every 20 minutes or so but I don't find them intrusive.

A word of warning though. You will be downloading music as a stream and it'll eat into your internet use limits. So, unless you're on an unlimited download package from your ISP, keep an eye on your monthly use to avoid any extra charges.
