Do you remember it? Did you use it? Are you mourning it still?
This was THE BEST product in existence for curly hair and they stupidly discontinued it 4 or 5 years ago. Nothing comes close to it! I still hunt in vain for it!
Does anybody else feel their hair is at a loss without it still????

I really like "Curl friends" by Umberto Giannini, you can get it in boots and its a little expensive (£5 for 200ml) but a little goes a long way.Aim - BUYING A HOUSE  by November 2013!Saved = 100% on 03/07/12 :j0

Just a quicky reply - I emailed customer services at Tigi and a very very nice lady replied to me and she will be sending me a complimentary bottle of their foxy curl - extreme mouse to try as curl jam will not be coming back!
Right can anybody think of anything discontinued at Dior, channel??? Hehehe!House saving Targets:

Oh I loved this too - my hairdresser said they were thinking of bringing out something similar again soon but no news yet...maybe she was just trying to console me
However, I use Trevor Sorbie curl cream and its a pretty good replacement but is white instead of purple
Its sad that us curlies have to put up with all our products being discountinued due to the craze for straight hair - I loved Sunsilk's curl cream and thats gone now too0 -

Can you tell us what its like when you get it?
I tend not to like mousse, it leaves my hair feeling too crisp.
I use Tigi Catwalk Curls Rock Curl amplifier which is best for me right now, combined with the dreaded Frizz Ease. Aveda's be curly is not quite ''enough'' for my hair, though leaves it feeling nicer and ''lighter'' the curl is just not as good and frizzes more easily.0 -
Yes I will definately let you know how it goes! losinrates - I find curls rock too light and it smells wierd to me! Like fish!! I swear!
The nice lady at Tigi said this (and recommended anotehr product)
Foxy Curl - Extreme Curl Mousse Medium to firm hold Moisturising, volumising and supports curl. Non sticky, enhances curl memory, reduces static and frizz.
Foxy Curl - Contour Cream, for all types of curls, rich cream heat activated to reduce static and frizz

LOL, I'll wait to find out how you find tthe mousse and maybe try them. The cream sounds like it would suit me better. Do you normally find mousse crispy?
I do know what you mean about the smell: thankfully I can't smell it like that in my hair (I did go through a paranoid phases and kept making DH sniff it).

Yeh let's start a campaign!
Well I can provide you with feedback now as I received it last week and I've used it twice! It is a nice silver bottle. Mouse smells OK. I applied mouse, diffussed and the result was a big ginger afro! I was ginger before mind so I can't blame that on the product! It certainly curls your hair but a bit too much! I like sleak (sp?) curls and my hair is a touch 80s perm now! and yes .. it is crispy! Oh well!
I think I'll email the nice lady back just to give her some feedback because I really do wish they'd just bring back curl jam!House saving Targets:

Go for it
I hate that crispy fro look too - I have English rose curls and I want them to look that way - think period drama style(mine are ginger too
), whereas lots of products are for thicker hair curl jam was perfect for my fine curls
