This can save a fortune if moving to or living in Spain.
Open a Halifax standard account in the UK.Open a Halifax Banco De Espania account in Spain.The terms include moving money between the accounts at a commercial rate for any amounts (£1 if you like!). Yesterday, 29th March, the rate was 1:42.58. There is no fee. You arrange the move in person at a Spanish branch or by phoning Halifax in the UK.Takes 3 to 5 days.Best way to move the pension across.......unless you know better.....
