Toto - I had to let my son go and he did some of what I expected (bumming around on friends sofa's) and some of what I didn't expect (holding down a job for two years)

You have to let them go and make their own way and decisions and even their own mistakes. As long as the door is always open for them to come back when they are in trouble then you are half way there....

Oh I do like a good trashy mag as well I do like to keep up with the celebrity goss

Thanks Sammy, it's all just come out of the blue a bit. You are right, he is an adult and I have to let him go and do his own thing. It's hard though isn't it. I can't imagine not having him living here.

Jaz is over the moon about it, she said. Great, I get his room and if he comes back he can sleep on the sofa because when I move into his room I am not moving out again.:rotfl: Can you feel the love in this house.

Mirrors the love in our house....My DS and DD can't stand each other and when he comes to visit she says - he is NOT staying in my bed....

Once they have gone you do get used to it. I for one would find it hard to have DS move back in....he pongs a bit!
