Hello everyone!
My, this is a fast-moving thread. Haven't been able to read every post, but wish you all well, and hugs from me to anyone who would like one!Penelope_Penguin wrote: »
Just got in from work. I came across a man who was extremely drunk, and wandering into the road, so stopped and called an ambulance (thought they sent 2 police vans  ). Thankfully, 2 other people stopped to give me moral support
Was interested to read this - did you call 999 or a non-emergency number? The reason I ask is because I saw an upside down car at the side of the road a while back down at the bottom of a hill, so called the police while running down to see if there was anyone in the car. There wasn't fortunately, nor was there any sort of "Police aware" sticker. I got an absolutely rollicking from the woman on the end of the phone saying that the accident had happened the day before and that "everyone knows that you're not supposed to call 999 - you should have called the operator!"
(I didn't know that actually)
Anyway, onto flying! I did all of the tasks on the list yesterday but am going to ease up today and just do level 2. I wanted to do level 1, but decluttering 100 things - I don't OWN 100 things!!!
