Hi,
I used the £20 empire stores voucher posted here recently and was sent my order of 3 items, but the voucher reduction was spilt over the items, ( the 24.99 became 18.82, 25.99 became 19.57 and 29.99 became 22.58) if I return 2 items will I get a refund of the before or after voucher price - I know with littlewoods you still get the discount against what you keep but not sure here - as I wont be able to use the £20 voucher again because I have reached its 3 limits!
Thanks Guys
Si

Hi there
I have done that in the past: sent back items after a discount had been applied to several items. You will get refunded the amount after the discount: i.e what it says on the invoice that they charged you. So if you return say the 24.99 item they will refund you 18.82.
I hope this helps!0 -
Has anyone noticed that La Redoute does the same thing (and returns go to the same warehouse as Empire and the paperworks the same colour)
You always have to ring up and say you have returned the items and can they adjust the discount, which they do.
But its an 0845 or 0870 number and wait wait wait on the phone.
Why dont they just deduct the discount as a whole on your statement like a sensible company should do?:mad:The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -

They are both part of Redcats in Bradford / Wakefield, as is Verbaudet, Daxon, etc. They all share the same warehouse & call centre.
Based on which number you call, the call centre staff can (usually) tell which catalogue yoa are calling about and therefore answer accordingly.
If you call before 9.00pm you will probably get Bradford of Wakefield, but after this time you are likely to be speaking to someone in MALTA.
The following is a freephone no. for Redcats: 0800 777000
Hope this is of some use.0
