Money Earned Online

I've made about $1k in the last year online through offre sites. I was wondering if I would have to file any tax forms on it?

  • Do you mean £'s? If you do actually mean $, and aren't in the UK, then sorry, we can't help.

You can make £2,500 in extra income every year without having to fill out a self assesement form, you do however have to pay tax on it. You should contact your tax office and they will let you know how much you should pay.

I assume you have a $ income figure because you were paid in dollars not because you as a US resident.
