Silly question....

..... but what does a CSA payment look like when it goes in your bank account??

Ive been a single, divorced mum for nearly 13 years and never had a penny in maintnance, either through the CSA or a private arrangement. I work, and had a phone call about 3 years ago saying they were closing my files coz apparntly i dont need CSA since im earning :rotfl:

However, yesterday morning, a payment hit my bank account and the person it came from was "Csa ******"
Have i had some money after 13 years???

Im actually kinda worried that it aint even mine!! It was less than £100 so no big deal, but i would still like to know where it came from!!

Hehe, well i wouldnt know my reference number because ive had no contact with the CSA for 12 and a half years, except for a phone call at work telling me they were closing my case.

Ooooh, i hope so!!! It would certainly help right now as ive just had to cut my hours at work due to my disability, so anything extra would certainly be a boost!!!

Funny ive not had any letters though  and how would they have known my bank account details? My tax credits and CB go into a different account. Only my wages go into the account the money appeared in.

They have access to all sorts of information now, including bank details if they really want to get hold of them!

Big brother is most certainly watching you...be warned.
