DS Lite £85 in Tesco - all colours

For anyone (like me) who does not live near a morrissons for last months offer, you can get any colour DS Lite console for £85 at Tesco.

I spent ages calling round my local stores to find stock of a red one (son's favourite colour and his birthday is next week). One store told me to call customer services and they can check stock of all my local stores and its a free phone number, rather than 0845 like the stores.

The number is 0800 50 55 55.

    Sounds like a good deal.

    :)

Let's just hope he doesn't roll his eyes and say "For goodness sake woman! I told you I wanted a DSi, not this obsolete rubbish! And you say you love me - well I don't see how, not if you think you can just fob me off with one of these! Well fair enough - just don't count on any grandchildren from me now!"

Be careful Kathy....check first that it isn't the DSi he'll want. If it is then take it back pronto!

  • Hi

DS Lite is fine for him. We already have one and he is only going to be 6 so doesn't know about the DSi. Find they come in really handy for long car journeys and they can share all the games we have.

Just got a pink one on this £85 deal (they only had pink) at the Roborough branch, Plymouth.

I paid £55.50 off with Clubcard vouchers (I'd been saving them for an OU course but in view of what I'd done, I thought hubby deserved the use of them more ...) and £5 with the Mail on Sunday's voucher (thanks to the poster who mentioned this, I wouldn't even have known about it if I hadn't read it on here!). The balance was £29.50, which seemed a fair price for my stupidity.

And what was it I'd done?

Only accidentally THREW AWAY my much-prized Christmas present to my poor long-suffering husband! :o

I was so chuffed with my bargain at Christmas, I got him a green DS Lite at Argos using a considerable number of Nectar points I'd amassed without realising, together with the Brain Training game, he'd wanted one for ages, he was thrilled to bits and I was so pleased with myself... he had it for about three and a half months before I took it off the kids, who were arguing about it, and hid it in the bin sitting on the kitchen worktop. I'd put it there before, but this time I didn't remember to take it out

I really should have investigated the heavy thump I felt on emptying the bin into the black sack that Thursday morning, but I was in a hurry and late for work ... and we haven't seen the green DSLite since

Yes, I know, I'm an idiot
