Verse for a teacher thank you card?

The boys are in playgroup, foundation & yr3, so we want something simple but that will also convey a goodbye sentiment as they're all moving after the break to new settings (housemove).

I used 'thank you for helping me to grow' last year (with flower kits), but something along similar lines would be great - struggling to think of anything and don't want to duplicate myself.

They're making ladybird fridge magnets for the teachers if that helps at all.

Any ideas?

This is little red magnetic ladybird
That is thank you for getting one of us to third.

One of us was in your playgroup
Wants to say thank you letting us be in the troop.

The other belonged to the foundation
Who taught us all in creation.

We all three are very sadlymoving away
But you now have ladybirds that won't fly

Thank you one, thank you three
We will never forget either of thee.

    That's lovely :)

They all want to do seperate cards (youngest is in a different setting too), but it gives me something to work with - although I'm not anywhere near as clever as you.

Ok, so it's not as good as sweetcarer's, but does this read well?

The idea is to fill a mini gift bag with roses chocs, and put the bug on top.

I know there's a bug in your Roses.
I hope you don't mind, you see
I'm sure he won't eat them from under your nose(s)
But instead he'll remind you of me.

The bonus being, it's short enough for eldest to write himself - he's really struggled with writing, and his teacher this year has worked hard to bring him on, so I know it being handwritten for her rather than printed will mean loads.

Hope all went well with your little ladybugs - your wee verse was so cute. I am sure the teachers will be well pleased. As they say it is nice to be nice.

The boys say they went down well with their teachers, and playgroup were happy when youngest and I took his in - even got a comment on the verse :D

We ended up doing 28 of them in the end  - but left the magnet bit out as they were a bit heavier than we thought they'd be.

This is how some of eldest's turned out -
