A bit of a treat for me I think - either a meal out with hubby or some clothes. Haven't decided yet.0

Oooh, I don't know! I can't decide at all, keep changing my mind!
Someone (sorry, can't remember who) suggested some new clothes which I could do with, be nice to treat myself, but lately I'm managing ok for clothes on my budget. And then I think maybe some spending money for my holiday (going with parents, they are paying bless them) but I don't normally spend much on holiday. And then I can't decide at what level to spend it, just wanna keep seeing it grow!
The trouble is I'm so used to resisting temptation that now I feel guilty if I indulge. And I'm well aware its not "free" money from somewhere, its just a fun and relatively painfree way of saving. I've really got into the thing of taking pleasure from savings rather than the things that I could have bought with the money, IYSWIM?
Anyway, I think I will just leave it and one day the right thing will come along and I will know what to spend it on - might be next week, might be in a few years :rotfl:
I've put mine into a savings account (separate one all of its own!) so that I can see the interest I earn on it and add it to my sig, probably just pennies so far though! :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

Hello,
I keep changing my mind too!
*Option one - interior decorating for house. Moved in six months ago and rapidly ran out of cash to do it up (pre lightbulb). Would love a new front door, new bathroom flooring, tiles for kitchen floor etc etc
*Option two - clothes and shoes - tearing around in old clothes and shoes just now and they are just NOT COMFY! Esp. £10 shoes from Primark worn through are all I've got for work!
*Option three - day out to Blair Drummond safari park for OH's birthday in July. He's obsessed by primates
*Option four - as Kathfisch says, keep saving them. I love the fact I've got money I SAVED and I just love the look and feel of £2 coins! I've not been very sensible and saved them in a bank - but I've not dipped into them or spent even one yet!
scottishspendaholic xMBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
Bank of Scotland = £2,782.830 -
As tempted as I am to treat myself, at this moment in time I'm planning to pay it towards my student loan, but ask me again in a few weeks...!£2.00 Coin Savers Club - £72.00 :j :j

I am going to use mine for an overnight stay at a 'Spa' place, have a few pampering treatements and give myself some TLC! Mind you, I'm supposed to be losing a stone at least before I deserve this treat. Hoping to have it all sorted (ie weight and ££££)so I can go in October.Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!

I'm thinking of a pampering day at a health spa. At the rate I'm getting them, its more likely to be a face pack @ home :eek:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 027
Debt free: 6th April 06 :T Proud to have dealt with my debts0 -
I think that I'll be very careful when I've saved enough as they are few and far between. What I'm trying to say, I think, is that it is easier to spend than to save!0

put towards paying debts off unless I have paid them off already by the time my pot is full in which case I will go out and blow it all on the stuff I have not bought for the time I have been in debt0
