Um chops...

The term 'Chops' is simply a slang term used by drummers for drum strokes and what they can play on the kit. Your chops usually get mentioned when you do mega flashy stuff, but to me I think it's all about having a great technique, nice groove and generally good solid playing. Most people strive for flashy chops though

To be honest, I'm feeling okay about things at the moment. I'm enjoying learning to be on my own without actually having to have a man in my life, and maybe I wont be ready for a relationship until I get to the point where I don't need one?

With a couple of exceptions though, the dating stuff is quite fun!

I had planned to have done all my work by the time house was on.

that was a miserable failure. between the headache and the period pains I have done zero. I could cry. Mum is asking me about lunch tomorrow and dinner. I don't know I haven't got a !!!!ing clue I didn't do the shopping.
what am going to do??????????????????? <- that's a retorical question cos I know exactly what I am going to do. go to work.

Buffy, breathe sweetie.

Right, what are the absolute priorities that you have to get done tonight. List only those and be brutal. If something will wait, leave it off.

Then tackle them in order, and get as much done as you can. You're only human, and can only do what you can do. If you worry about the stuff you can't get done, you will be less effective in tackling the rest.

Break things into manageable chunks, and give yourself rewards for each bit you complete (10 minutes on here, a coffee, a biscuit etc....the diet will wait a couple of days).

Oh yay beanie and buffy I'm in with the losing weight thing. Actually I'm always in on these things, doesn't usually make me stop eating chocolate though. I really really want to lose a stone before august now, I remember a time when I thought nothing of being in a swimming cossie taking the kids swimming. But these days I just can't do it, I feel so horrible about myself.

I soooo want to take lily for swimming lessons too but I have a bit of a deformed belly these days(since I was pregnant) and feel ever so self conscious about it
