Recession means Working Harder

OK there's less work. But possibly even less workers doing it. Which means the workers still employed are working harder.
For example within this board we now have far fewer posters. In order to keep it moving, the few remaining have to redouble their efforts. If only the management would allow us to advertise to a wider audience, we might be able to share the load.

I would say Parkinson's Law applies here.
Obviously, those who were interviewed dozens of times by Parky, would never have returned if he'd done the show from an old cinema in Scun...whoops!....Cleethorpes and recorded it on his auntie's camcorder.

Personally, I think now's the time to bin Tax Credits and share the work out. Let all jobs become 3-4 days/week and let's all have a right royal few days off each week.
Much better for everybody.0 -

Maybe we're just not nice enough. Every newbie gets jumped on by bears or bulls, and a row develops. Half the time they're accused of being sortofok.
I am going to try a welcome thread - it'll get pulled of course.0 -
I thought this board had been cut!
Where is the deomocracy in that, perhaps Martin should put it to a vote?
This board needs restructuring...0 -
