Does anyone know if your current employer would find out if you went bankrupt and would you lose your job im in legal sector in admin role answering phones,and would you lose any possible redundancy money if you were to take the decision to go bankrupt

Unless it is explicitly stated in your employment contract that you can be dismissed if you become bankrupt, or it impacts your ability to lawfully carry out all the duties expected of you, I doubt they would be able to dismiss you.
If you were in a management position or dealing with money or financially sensitive information then it may be an issue, but from what you have written, i don't think you would have anything to worry about.
If you haven't already done so, i suggest you post up a statement of affairs so we can see if there are any savings you can make or if there is possibly an alternative to bankruptcy.

Agree with George, however bankruptcy declarations are made available for public scrutinty by anyone who is interested, technically you wouldn't be able to stop them finding out.If you will the end, you must will the means.0
