I am not having a go at anybody..honest;) I just got qiute narked how my post was jumped on and no body knew the story.
In answer to your question Blonde-bint (love the username by the way!) my hubby did ask about abortion and he did say he didnt want children...which he still doesnt hence we make sure we dont have any...he now has had the snip and i am sterilized as i dont want more (2 is enough :rotfl:) ...and he was met by horror from family and from her...he was told it was her body and it's her choice. Ok..as a female i can understand that abortion is a difficult choice and not a nice 1 to choose...however, it meant that my hubby became a father when he didnt want to be and he had no choice. This is when again you get the chants.."he should have put something on the end of it"...and like i have said before..in the heat of the moment and being told she is on pill, a few drinks...well....commen story. When my hubby confronted her about her being on the pill he was met with "i forgot to take it" and then over the next few weeks it came out she wanted a baby. My hubby then had no choice to to pay out weekly payments to a child he is not allowed to have any say in the up bringing of and after much greaf from the PWC and the stress got too much, he now has no contact.
It's a whole messy business when it includes children.
By the way i am a nice PWC and would love my kids dad have them often and instead of giving me money and involving the CSA, i would be happy for him to spend money on the kids so he knew the money went on them...sadly he chose not to have contact.
Anyway...these posts have no gone off the OP's topic completely:cool:
ok i've taken it out of the way of original thread so people dont get annoyed:D
your other half is on the receiving end of my procrastination it would seem, I hear you and I get this 'condom on the end of it' business just for clarification, I like a good what if ... and I like a laugh, a slagging or prodding at someone doesnt amuse me so if I post something that you think i'm slagging then let me know (dont get hold of the wrong end of the stick:p)
i've forgotten what I was getting at:o glad you like my name it describes me so perfectly it should be on my birth certificate lol.
oh yes i've remembered lol best spit it out before I forget. blokes dont get much choice after the fact so to speak he didnt want a baby with a woman he knew he wanted nothing to do with and she really hood winked him she knew what she was doing if it really is 50/50 it should be 50/50 on weather the child is born. this is not the case.

I think you all on this thread should do tours of schools and colleges, with all your stories and I mean ALL from all sides, we should also encourage young children (15 20 yr olds ish) to look at this site to try to encourage them not to make the same mistakes we did.
It may make some kids think. I think thats what i'm going to do when mine is about 16 17 ish I will show her this place if it still exists prevention technique maybe. when we are kids we dont listen to our parents do we. we know it all the parents know nothing.

I think by then it is too late, in my life experience and some shared with others, children from broken homes have a troubled time ahead, boys can stray the wrong side of the law and girls can suffer on the relationship side, so most of you/us are doomed if we feel the children are already on the best possible path in life

Every time you have sex there is a possibility that, that act could create a child, there is no point in thinking after. If two adults decide to have sex they also have to use precautions if they do not want a child. A child is nothing compared to AIDS.Blonde_Bint wrote: »oh yes i've remembered lol best spit it out before I forget. blokes dont get much choice after the fact so to speak he didnt want a baby with a woman he knew he wanted nothing to do with and she really hood winked him she knew what she was doing if it really is 50/50 it should be 50/50 on weather the child is born. this is not the case.

Hate to point out the obvious, men do not get a say whether a child is born or aborted - that makes it all the more important for men to think with their heads before going for a one-night/one-week stand.
Just a shame your ex's past is eating away at you now - no point in worrying over something that cannot change. btw I have been there in your position.0 -
I'm confused with this, I am guessing that you are quoting someone else so therefore the quote should be marked as obvious.
It's very hard to work out where the person you are quoting finishes and your point starts.
I'm going to guess that you are saying there are so many stories based around wrong decisions 'in the heat of the moment' that you will choose to show your children first hand these threads so they do not make the same mistake as these people.0 -
I agree. If a man should accept the responsibilities of him having sex then so should a woman and perhaps abortion should only be available in the instances of rape or for medical purposes.
What if a man really wants a child and the woman decides she doesn't? Should she be forced to carry the child and support him/her until they are an adult?August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61
