can someone please run some Wimbledon comps that DON'T fall on the weekend of 26th - 28th June. I'm in Swansea that weekend at a conference so can't go!

It's the second part of the Evian competition. You could only enter the first part but now they have closed the first part and opened the second. So it is the same but different, if you see what I mean. You can enter this without disqualifying yourself from the other comp.

Can't do that even tho it's not work but volunteering. It's the NCT conference, I was already going but I won my place in another comp, and anyway, I'm carsharing with someone who can't take the family car with her. Plus, our branch won one of the categories in their awards so we need to be there - am sending up the other person to collect it. (Oh, and I do regional work too so need to be "visible" to others!)

This has been in the diary since last June so it's just tough really. What I really need to do is get tickets to quarter finals day early in the second week because finals weekend is not going to be much better - my son has his pre-school leaver awards on men's semi final day, and men's finals day is my daughter's 3rd birthday!

Thank you julie, will need a good and reasonable recommendation of a place to eat on Saturday night! Friday night is sorted as I have to be in a meeting at 5.30 so they are providing dinner but we will be free to enjoy the delights of Swansea after conference on Sat evening.

If the weather is nice you can't beat Mumbles,(The Zeta's, thats Catherine and Michael, used to eat and stay in Morgans Hotel), there are some nice places there. Or Wine street but that gets very busy as they close the road off to traffic on the weekend.
