Self DMP question ~ (how to respond)

Well, I heard back from another creditor.. (in response to my reduced payments etc)
A 'friendly' letter.
Saying the contents of my (SECOND!) letter had been noted.
(BUT) That they can only accept my reduced payments offer, if it is made in line with a Debt management Plan. (HELLO?! It was!)
That my account will be on hold for 14days, for me to contact them further regarding the Debt management company I am using. (im not, but I do have a PP customer number, that I already gave them.. Just to look better
. and I let them know I have taken advice from PP and NDL, which I have)
Soooo.. what shall I say next? .. (because I know I don't have to go through a Debt management comp)

Hi Eupho I do self managed DMP for my OH and a couple of his creditors never officially accepted the reduced payments. We just carry on paying them anyway, (they don't refuse them:rolleyes:), true they keep on hassling OH but to be honest I'm past caring, at the end of the day they can't have what we haven't got.
Sorry thats not a great help is it, don't really know what else to suggest.DMP Support Thread Member 238
