New to the site and need help

Dear All

Lert me start by saying that I have no excuse for the debt that I'm in. It was lal my own stupid fault and and a total lack of control on my part. I have substantial debt and have been looking at ways to reduce the amount that I owe. I have looked at various websites and advice and am now thoroughly confused.

Desperately need help and advice on how to proceed.

I have outstanding debts on a loan and credit cards that total nearly £50k. Am currently spending about a £1k amonth to try and clear these debts but its getting tighter and tighter, I dont want to go down the road of VLA as I believe its my debt and I should pay it off. I just want to make the repayments less so y family arent struggling.

Any advice would do
