Just a thought: 2300mAh seems a very low capacity for a D cell, as AA cells now achieve that and have a much smaller volume. So you may want to think about going for a higher capacity, although they may be slightly heavier.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I dunno about that! I've only seen 2300mAh ones and besides I need six of em to match two that I already have.
2300mAh seems to be the highest capacity for 'D' batteries according to the "Uniross" site tho.
Thanks for pointing that out tho', I'll check it out for future reference.
Anyway, I found the ones I need a bit cheaper HERE + £2.95 P&P!
Don't know how reliable "MyMemory" are, but I shall find out soon.
