Picnic ideas

Now the weather is getting nicer, I thought it might be a nice idea for a picnic.

What would everyone take that would fit into one cool box and not cost the earth?

Ideas would be appriciated.

Thanks

I was thinking the same when we go to the zoo next week (with tescos clubcard vouchers :D)

Going to make special sandwiches (either ham or chicken with salad cream and finely chopped peppers and onion -YUM)
Maybe some small pork pies/scotch eggs or wee sausages.
    Strawberries as cheap in tescos/asda.
Was thinking of taking homemade soup in flask with homemade bread
    Some sort of cake/biscuit.
    Juice

    Cant wait now!
