DWP AO Jobs - Do Unsuccessful Applicants Get Notified First?

To anybody who has recently has a job interview with the DWP JCP for an AO post, I was wondering if you could answer this question: Do all the unsuccessful applicants get notified first, or are all the result letters sent from out at the same time?
If the unsuccessful candidates are all sent their letters first, then to me it seems very agonising - and VERY disappointing - if they have been waiting nearly FOUR WEEKS for the result!
Surely the unsuccessful applicants should be notified of the result of their interview more quickly, to put them out of their misery of waiting and waiting?

In general, if a candidate is not suitable for a job, then they tend to be given their "no" quite quickly.
If a company is unsure (so neither a "yes" or a "no"), but still has others to interview, then they'll often keep them hanging on, hence no news is often good news, as it means you haven't got an outright rejection.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1 -
Hi
The last set of interviews I sat, all candidates got their replies the same day, successful or not.
Not in my case0 -
I'd expect the successful candidate to be contacted first - in case they said "No thanks". Once they've said "Yes" then the rest can be contacted and told they were unsuccessful.
To do it any other way would leave an organisation open to having to go back to a candidate that's been told they didn't get it, to ask if they want it now. Not good as that person has been deflated AND now knows they were second best.0 -
I went for an AO interview 28 April and STILL haven't heard anything at all.:idea:0
