both have systems with ROI maps for around £500 -
Garmin seems to be the make most taxi drivers use, maps for both north and south allready on them and they seem to be the most detailed/precise for over here.Norn Iron Club member No 3530

You'll get a Garmin Nuvi 205W for £100, (the ##5 range Nuvi's have faster satellite lock than the ##0 range, and quicker refresh rate for screen display) don't pay extra for the Traffic option, it doesn't work over here and not thsat reliable when it does work.0
