Merino wool

I "perspire" a lot if I do any physical activity - gardening, hiking etc. Someone has told me merino wool tops are the best for this as they keep their warmth and do not get wet.. Cotton t-shirts get wet & then cold - not very pleasant.

Where can I buy cheap merino wool tops? The ones I found were in the £45 area.

Merino and cheap rarely go together, but merino is so nice to have next to your skin. The kiwis swear by it!

Icebreaker is often found in outdoorsy type shops, but I've just found it here.

Boden has also had some merino on sale.

Merino wool, so soft and lovely! And so expensive!

Have you tried industrial-strength anti-perspirant, like Odaban, Driclor or Anhydrol Forte?
