IPA change?

Hi All,

I was discharged about a year ago and still pay an IPA of £186 a month which is paid by DD to Moon Beever.

Since this amount was agreed shortly after bankruptcy, i have had several pay increases and have not told them about it. Should i tell them i earn more money or just keep quiet? Would i be in trouble if they found out? What happens after i have made the last of 36 payments, would they ask me to complete another questionaire at the end?

The gas and electric bills have doubled, council tax and fuel has gone up since the original SOA was agreed, so i wouldn't say i'm that much richer anyway.

thanks

Calvin

you have signed an agreement to say you will inform the OR of any SOA changes within 21days of the change,so yes I would tell them,at the same time you can redo your expenses if these to have gone up.

Yes...you signed all the relevent paperwork when you went BR to say ANY change in circumstances you must inform the OR/trustee within 21 days...What happens after i have made the last of 36 payments, would they ask me to complete another questionaire at the end? Probably not

Yes I agree with the previous posters, notify the OR of your increase in salary and in turn the increase in your cost of living. If you have a nil tax code at present I would think they can work out from your tax that you're making a bit more.

They changed the wording of IPA agreements about the time you would have had yours set up.

    They previously said something like:

"You must inform the OR/trustee of any increase in income while undischarged"

and was then changed to something along the lines of

"You must inform the OR/trustee of any increase in income until the end of this agreement"

    BIG difference.

Check the wording of the agreement you signed. ;)
