Hello Ladies
Just wondered if you can recommend any nice Wedding Albums and where I can make my purchase.
I have seen some on EBay.
I would like one that holds 50 + photos.
Thanks in advance for any help.

hiya,
how much would you like to spend on the album? Im a photographer and I have a supplier that can sell albums from all prices, so if you give me an idea on budget and style youd like your album (ie contemporary or traditional) I could ask my supplier to help you!Life is what you make it.0 -

Does your supplier have a website I could browse.
Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately no website as they arent open to the public - they work purely for wedding photographers and thats about it sorry.
Thats a nice album youve found and a good price also. The closest to that would be an album thats made in Italy, its 40 pages (80 double sided) comes wrapped in a protective cloth and box as well. It works out at about £100 without photos in it so it is a bit dearer than the album on ebay - but its what the pros use.
Id say if you can, try and go for something on ebay cos your going to save at least 50% if not more! We have albums that are priced right up to £600!!! Just make sure that its a new album and that your buying off an "ebay shop" so you have some comeback if anything is wrong with it! Also email the seller before you buy it, sometimes if you get chatting and be friendly they might drop some money off the postage costs!!Life is what you make it.0 -
What size are your prints? - that one on ebay is countess size and I'm sure weeclick will correct me if I'm wrong but your photos will have to be 10 x 8 inches.
If you tell us what size your photos are I'm sure either myself or weeclick will be able to answer your question better.
Have you tried WH Smiths or the likes - I'm sure they have some in there, (the kind you stick your photos to the pages). If you like the type that you saw on ebay - then it will have to be either ebay or a professional photograher.0 -
Can you wait until the summer sales? Places like Boots and John Lewis often have albums in their sales.Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

Thanks for all your help ladies.
What does COUNTESS size mean, sorry to be vague. I am double checking with the photographer to see what size the photos will be. I also have a TK Max across the road and WHSmith close by so I'll take a look in there as well.

What does COUNTESS size mean,
Countess size is just that it will hold bigger leaves and overlays - (thats what you would put your photos onto!! :rotfl:) The biggest photo that you can put into a countess album is 10 x 8.
Minor size albums - biggest photo is 8 x 6
Princess albums - biggest photo is 5 x7
These are the album sizes that 'professionals' will quote when ordering albums.
Once you know the size of your photographs then we can point you in the right direction if you still want to go down that route.0 -
everything Nell has said is spot on

I was up at an outlet centre yesterday and theres a Marks and Spencers outlet store there and they had wedding albums for £13!!!! It just depends on how fussy you are, they are white, quite plain and comes in a nice white box. Obviously thats at the low end of the scale but just goes to shop, if you shop around you could end up saving a fortune!!!Life is what you make it.0
